The discipline of Project Management is becoming widely established to enhance competitiveness. The knowledge, skills and techniques is becoming more popular by the day as the vehicle for managing change. It could not have been more relevant to organize the very first international conference with the theme "Project Management for Results" here in Kathmandu on May 27 - 28, 2011 with a host of speakers and authorities of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and their support.

This is a call for researchers and practitioners of the project management profession to submit abstracts of their paper for presentation at the conference by 31 March 2011.

- Issues and practices in the social and development projects
- Management of country projects and programs by governments
- Project management practices on awards, certification, training, and education
